J. Obidjonov was born in 1976 in Tashkent city.
He graduated from Tashkent State University of Economics in 1998.
In 2006, he attended the Academy of State and Social Construction under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
In 2024, he earned a bachelor's degree in Energy from the Islam Karimov State Technical University.
Also, in 2024, he obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Anglia Ruskin University, UK.
